International Overdose Awareness Day marked across N.L.
August 31 marks International Overdose Awareness Day. It’s an annual campaign created to end overdoses, remember those who have died from an overdose, and acknowledge those who are grieving the loss of loved ones.
The day also aims to raise awareness about the risks of drug overdose and reduce the stigma associated with drug-related deaths. A large number of overdose related deaths have been reported in the capital city over the last month.
