Bank of Canada will announce decision on target for overnight rate today
The Bank of Canada will announce the interest rate adjustment today at 11:15 a.m. Newfoundland time.
This will be the first update of 2024. The interest rate currently sits at five percent.
In December, the inflation rate increased to 3.4 per cent.
