Committee recommends pay raises for MHAs
A committee has recommended that MHAs receive a pay rase of almost $25,000 a year. MHA salaries have been frozen at about $95,000 since 2009. But a compensation review committee says they should be raised to $120,000 with annual increases connected to the consumer price index.
