Bay Roberts implements immediate fire ban
The Town of Bay Roberts has implemented an open burn ban effective immediately in areas covered by Bay Roberts Fire Rescue. This includes all wood-burning appliances, including fire pits. Gas barbecues and pits are permitted. This is due to the number of resources from neighbouring communities involved in combating several area forest fires.
