Air Canada flight attendants strike enters third day 

The Air Canada flight attendant’s strike has been declared illegal by the country’s industrial relations board. However, it was another day of travel disruptions for passengers across Canada. Zuiderdam Cruise ship visit to St. John’s cancelled

The Zuiderdam cruise ship, originally scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, has been cancelled due to weather. The Zuiderdam with 2388 passengers was scheduled to depart at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20. The next scheduled ship to arrive will be the Volendam on August 23.

Wildfire update coming this morning

Premier John Hogan will provide an update on the wildfire situation in the province this morning. Hogan will be joined by Minister John Haggie, Minister Jamie Korab, and departmental officials. The update will take place at 10:15 a.m. and will be carried live on NTV.
