RCMP charges priest with sexual assault
Forty-nine-year-old Thomas Offong, a priest who has served in the communities of Avondale, Colliers and Conception Harbour, is charged with one count of sexual assault against an adult following an investigation by Holyrood RCMP. Offong is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in St. John’s on Feb. 6, 2024.
