Causeway reopening for Christmas
People who travel between Clarenville and Shoal Harbour are getting an early Christmas gift this year. Cat jumps from utility pole while NF Power attempts rescue
Coco the cat made a big jump from a utility pole in Dildo, while a Newfoundland Power employee attempted a rescue. The video was posted on Facebook by Alice Reid, and it has gotten a lot of views and comments. Luckily, Coco was not harmed after her courageous leap.

Corner Brook budget reduces mil rate, but raises water tax

Missing teenager located safe in Happy Valley-Goose Bay
A missing teenager in Happy Valley-Goose Bay has been located safely. Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP had been searching for 15-year-old Kylie Kautjasiak who had been missing since shortly after midnight.
