There will be an announcement today pertaining to funding for public libraries. Minister of Education Krista Lynn Howell will announce funding for provincial public libraries this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the public library in Lewisporte. Howell will be joined by MHA Derek Bennett.

Heavy rain forces closure of Marble Mountain
The excessive rainfall on the west coast has resulted in problems at Marble Mountain. Gravel and sand from washouts have been deposited at the base of the mountain. At this time, the mountain is expected to reopen on Friday. Additionally, the Fat Bike Race has been postponed until further notice.
