Newfoundlander wins $5 million through Atlantic Lottery
Dennis Hobbs of Keels, Newfoundland became a multi-millionaire over night – after 30 years of buying Atlantic Lottery tickets, the day has finally come. Dennis, now holds $5 million and says he already has plans to make some purchases, and more importantly support his family and friends.

Police are investigating the discovery of human remains in western Newfoundland. The RCMP say they were found Tuesday in a wooded area near St. George’s. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is involved. The investigation is continuing to determine the identification of the remains.
