Businesses navigate first weekend of GST/HST holiday
The two-month GST/HST holiday officially began this weekend. There is no tax on items such as children’s clothes and toys, food and more until mid-February. But, local businesses say the government has left them high and dry with little guidance on what items qualify and with little time to prepare.
