Furey raises Atlantic Accord concerns about federal plan to cap emissions
Premier Andrew Furey released a statement today on Ottawa’s plan to cap emissions from the oil and gas industry.
The federal government says it won’t affect Newfoundland and Labrador, because the province’s industry is already below the cap.
But Furey says he wants to make sure the spirit of joint management is maintained under the Atlantic Accord.
