FFAW slams Ottawa’s northern cod decision
It was 32 years ago today that the cod moratorium was announced. But just days after it ended, the fisheries union is calling on Ottawa to bring the moratorium back.
The FFAW wants the federal government to reverse its decision to allow offshore draggers to fish for northern cod. NTV’s Beth Penney reports.
