Volendam Cruise Ship stop in St. John’s cancelled due to weather

The Volendam cruise ship, originally scheduled to visit the City of St. John’s, has been cancelled due to expected unfavourable weather conditions. The Volendam with 1839 passengers was scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. on Saturday. The Seabourn Sojourn is expected to arrive on August 26.

The cost of most fuels is down today. The exception is gas, which increased by 1.5 cents.
