Man charged with assault and break and enter in St. John’s early this morning

RNC responded to a report of an assault in St. John’s around 1:00 a.m. this morning. As a result of their investigation, a 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault, break and enter, mischief and threats. He was taken to the city lockup to await court.

Lengthy ramp closure taking place on Lawrence Pond Road in Conception Bay South

The eastbound ramp connecting Peacekeepers Way to Lawrence Pond Road in Conception Bay South will be closed starting on Monday. The closure will remain in place until late October. The closure is necessary to facilitate the culvert replacement at the Lawrence Pond Brook. Motorists are asked to access Lawrence Pond Road through Route 60.
