Minor electrical fire overnight in downtown St. John’s

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department responded to an electrical fire on Water Street in St. John’s overnight. Crews from the Central, West End, and Kent’s Pond stations responded to the call just after 1:00 a.m. The call was minor in nature, and there were no reports of any injuries.
